New Features

WYSIWYG editor

Zenedit now includes a WYSIWYG editor for Markdown that lets you format content visually while keeping full compatibility with Redmine Markdown syntax. You can create headings, lists, tables, and links using the toolbar and switch to plain Markdown mode at any time

Real-time Presence indicator

Real-time presence indicators show exactly which team members are viewing or editing a specific task. When a colleague opens an issue or starts a draft, their avatar appears with a pulsing visual effect to prevent edit collisions. This seamless synchronization ensures your team stays aligned and avoids overwriting work without needing to refresh the page

Read Receipts

Read receipts provide visual confirmation of when team members have viewed a task. A green indicator with a timestamp shows the exact moment of the last view, and tasks are automatically marked as unread if changes occur after they were last seen. You can also use dedicated filters to track viewed tasks by specific users or across the entire team

Saving drafts

With a new release you can work on issue descriptions, comments or notes safer. The system will save the draft every 30 seconds, and if you leave the page without publishing the changes, it will show you the notification that the draft is available upon your return

User mentions

The Pro edition allows you to mention users the same way as on Facebook, Twitter, or other social media. Use '@' sign and start typing the user email. Pick the right one from the list. Once the change is submitted, they will receive an email notification. It makes communication and collaboration way simpler and faster
