From Checklists version 3.1.15, a new feature was added - Hide link for closed items. As the name suggests, it allows you to hide the already checked (marked as "done") checklist items.
The button is located in the top right corner of the issue. Please note that there are now closed checklist items and they are appearing in the list because the option is not clicked.
And then, when you click on the button, the checked items are automatically hidden. In the button itself, you could see that the number of the checked items is shown (3 in our example below). So, you could return them back to be visible anytime.
